    Anti-Inflammatory Cleanse Juice

The Ayurveda Experience January 17, 2017

Total Time: 5 minutes                 Serves: 2

    Ingredients:

    • 4 stalks celery
    • cucumber
    • 10 carrots, cut in juliennes
    • ½ beet root
    • 1 cup spinach
    • 1 lemon
    • 1 large ripe tomato
    • 1 knob ginger

    Method:

    1. Add all ingredients to a vegetable juicer and mix.
    2. Gently stir juice and drink immediately. Enjoy!

Comments: Celery is a rich source of phenolic phytonutrients that have antioxidant and antiinflammatory properties. Vegetables that are full of lycopene and other carotenoids, can help decrease inflammation. Tomatoes are rich in lycopene, carrots and spinach are good sources of carotenoids, according to data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Cucumber is cooling by nature and pacifies Pitta and related inflammation.

Do you know that a Dosha imbalance could be the culprit behind an inflamed mind too?!
